Chris und Iris sitzen auf Hockern

V_RST_LL_NG

The new show of Chris and Iris combines contemporary circus with language.

Words fall and acrobats are caught.

The performance evolves around the German term „Vorstellung“ in it’s several meanings of “imagination”, “to present oneself” and simply “show”.
The duo gives insights into their training routine and live as artists. It’s a piece with a lot of honesty and humor, going into philosophical questions and stimulating the imagination of the audience. But also the artistic performance doesn’t come too short.

Movements speak, language moves.

A show that is multi-layered, approachable and always surprises.

60 minutes followed by an audience talk (optional).

Language: German

Age: recommended from the age of 8.

The premiere will take place in November 2024 as part of “Zeit für Zirkus” in Tollhaus Karlsruhe.
